Curious Developments is an IT company that creates custom software products and support services of an exceptional standard.
We specialise in secure web-based database systems for sensitive information and business intelligence on the Microsoft platform.

Since 2004, we have focused heavily on biosecurity:-

national animal health surveillance
outbreak management systems.

Our highly secure and scalable web framework, CuriousCore, has been deployed by the Australian Government since 2005 within its national animal disease surveillance platform, handling secure information such as Avian Influenza test results from pathology laboratories.

Curious Developments own and manage the largest animal health database in Australia, holding records going back to 1990. It currently has 2000+ members across Australia contributing their animal health data which is used by Goverment agencies managing disease outbreaks and threatened species.

Curious Development enjoys working with various community organisations. These groups range from volunteer animal care groups such as WIRES NSW to the United Nations women's rights organisation UNIFEM.
